The role We are looking for a Junior Specialist Sales to support Aimsun Product sales and Business Development activities. This role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Product Sales Growth & Strategic Partnerships, operating within the company's Growth team. Location Based in the Aimsun office in Barcelona, combined with remote working and the option of flexible hours. Benefits of working at Aimsun • Flexible working hours and partial remote working, • Dedicated HR support, and training opportunities, • Individual annual review and career development support, • Modern, comfortable offices in central locations, • Collaborative, horizontal company organization with open feedback, • Good corporate stewardship – A mission-driven company using technology to improve urban and natural environments Responsibilities & tasks • Follow-up on leads and prospects for Aimsun products following a structured CRM approach, • Manage customer inquiries regarding Aimsun products and software subscriptions by providing timely, professional responses and escalating issues when required., • Support the identification and research of target accounts across assigned territories and verticals (public sector, consultancy, academia)., • Access and monitor tender portals for target markets and products globally, • Assist in executing structured outbound campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and phone to generate qualified meetings and prepare needed content for showcasing first client meetings., • Support the qualification of inbound leads and route them efficiently through the sales funnel., • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all activity in CRM (Salesforce or equivalent)., • Contribute to the preparation of sales collateral, pitch decks, and campaign sequences with the marketing and market teams., • Build basic knowledge of industry trends in smart mobility, ITS, and transport simulation to support conversations with technical buyers., • Track and report on key outreach metrics and contribute to pipeline forecasting discussions. Education • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Traffic engineering or a related discipline. What We're Looking For • Excellent time management, self-sufficiency, organizational skills, and attention to detail., • Service orientation, flexibility, positive attitude and team spirit., • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines, problem-solving., • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated accountability and ownership for outcomes., • Diversity and inclusion awareness., • Knowledge of CRM software such as Salesforce., • Knowledge of Government portals and tender processes, • Excellent written and verbal communication & presentation skills in English and Spanish, • Genuine curiosity about transport, urban mobility, or infrastructure technology, • Exposure to HubSpot or equivalent — workflows, reporting, and data governance., • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Nice-to-Have • Background in mobility, transport, or urban planning, • Experience at a consultancy or professional services firm, • Previous role at a software or SaaS company, • Exposure to public sector procurement or tender processes, • Catalan, a strong plus. xqysrnh Additional languages, if proficient, an asset, • AI-native mindset — comfortable using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to improve workflows, accelerate research, and streamline repetitive tasks Experience • 1–3 years of experience in sales, CRM operations, or a client-facing role.
