Reports to the business owner.
The store manager oversees all aspects of the shop by ensuring all operations run smoothly, excellent customer service and strong sales performance. This is a hands-on role in a small retail environment, requiring both leadership and day-to-day sales involvement.
Key Responsibilities Includes:
- Lead by example by delivering exceptional customer service and denim expertise.
- Manage and motivate sales assistants, including scheduling and training.
- Oversees daily store operations: sales, inventory, merchandising and cash handling.
- Monitor stock levels, place reorders, and manage supplier relations.
- Implement visual merchandising that reflects the store's brand identity.
- Analyze sales performance and prepare weekly/monthly reports for the owner.
- Handle customer issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2+ years of retail management experience or supervisory experience (fashion /denim preferred).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving, organization, and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of retail KPI's and ability to drive sales.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for fashion retail.
