This role may be the role for you. iMAR is currently looking for a Booking Manager to maintain top-tier experience packages in travel, music, sports, and entertainment. Bonus points if you are a self-starter with experience working in a small (but mighty) team. This role will involve booking, confirming, and managing changes for packages that satisfy clients' promotional and business needs. These experiences could run the gamut from a culinary odyssey through Greece to a "World Tour" including five concerts in five different countries across the world. In addition, you will also be asked to research and suggest potential events, activities, and travel providers for new experience packages. Our client needs are diverse, so anything from a Kenyan luxury safari for 40 travelers to the perfect Father's Day fishing trip in Islamorada is fair game! Responsibilities: ● Utilize booking systems and online platforms to secure reservations for flights, hotels, rental cars, and other travel-related services at the direction of the Concierge Manager. ● Confirm reservations, manage booking changes, and handle cancellations as needed. ● Create and maintain accurate records of travel bookings and reservation numbers ● Lead creation of guest itineraries with accurate reservation details and information. ● Maintain a database of trusted travel suppliers, accommodations, and other vendor accounts. ● Research pricing and suggest potential hotels, activities, and travel providers for new experience packages and itineraries at the direction of the [Category Manager - Experiences.] ● Direct Support Agents on additional booking support as needed. ● Provide live support via text and/or trip chat to active travelers regarding their bookings and reservations as needed. Qualifications: ● Knowledge of travel reservation systems and online booking platforms. ● Familiarity with geography, travel regulations, and popular travel destinations. ● Previous experience in travel agency or related. ● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. ● Strong communication and interpersonal skills. ● Highly organized and process-oriented.
