ppGlobeducate is one of the leading international K12 education groups in the world, a network of 65+ premium bilingual and international schools, as well as online programmes, educating 40,000 students in 11 countries. /p pReporting to the Global Finance Director, the Head of Consolidation Reporting should have a strong background in financial consolidation, preferably gained through at a Big Four accounting firm or one of the top 8 global audit firms. /p pIn this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards and internal reporting requirements. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation processes for the group /li liEnsure compliance with IFRS or local GAAP (as applicable) during the consolidation process /li liCoordinate with local finance teams to ensure timely and accurate data submission /li liPrepare consolidated financial statements and related reporting packages /li liAnalyze financial data and investigate variances at the group level /li liSupport external audits and ensure timely delivery of audit requirements /li liAssist in the implementation and improvement of consolidation tools and processes /li liAct as a point of contact for consolidation-related queries across the organization /li liCollaborate with the FPA and accounting teams for cross-functional alignment /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field /li liMinimum 8 years of experience /liliSolid knowledge of consolidation processes and financial reporting /li liStrong understanding of IFRS or US GAAP /li liFluent in English (spoken and written) /li liExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills /li liDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines /li liAdvanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems is a plus /li /ul pSafeguarding Statement: Globeducate is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
