We are looking for a Senior Meetings & Events Manager to join our team here in Barcelona. About the Role • You'll take ownership of Perk's largest and most commercially significant MICE opportunities, managing everything from initial RFP through to negotiation and contract sign-off, including site inspections where appropriate. Day-to-day, that means leading the end-to-end coordination of conferences, meetings, incentive programmes, group travel, and corporate events for clients across multiple regions and time zones., • You'll work closely with our Sales and Account Management teams to feed the commercial pipeline — joining discovery conversations, helping position Perk Events product capabilities, and ensuring we're turning opportunities into revenue. Equally important is the client-facing side: you'll act as a senior relationship owner, proactively engaging with enterprise accounts, anticipating their needs before they surface, and identifying opportunities to grow spend across Meetings & Events and group travel., • 2-4 years events expertise: having worked in a structured M&E or MICE environment - ideally within a travel management company or corporate travel agency - you are highly comfortable handling complex, high-value programmes at scale., • Proven track record: You bring a proven track record of managing high-complexity events within a global, leading event agency or Travel Management Company (TMC). You'll need to be commercially minded, organised under pressure and genuinely strong with clients., • Proactive expert & advisor: You have an uncompromising eye for detail and the confidence to proactively share your expertise; you don’t just take orders—you anticipate what makes an event successful and provide the creative, "outside the box" advice our customers need., • Obsessed with Customer Delight: You truly love the art of the "win" and are passionate about going above and beyond to transform a standard booking into a 7-star experience that drives long-term customer loyalty., • Perk culture: We are looking for people with an interest in travel but more importantly committed to providing a 7 star customer experience to our amazing customers.
