School Secretary for Temporary Cover (Full-Time)


A private school in Barcelona (Sarrià) is seeking to urgently recruit a professional for our School Office to cover a full-time temporary substitution.


Position Details and Conditions
The substitution will take place for an estimated period from October 26th to November 24th. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, which includes a one-hour lunch break. As an additional benefit, the school provides free lunch at the campus dining hall.


Profile Requirements
To be considered for this role, it is an essential requirement to demonstrate a fluent command of both English and Spanish, both spoken and written. Language proficiency will be tested during the selection process. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, a strong focus on customer service, empathy, and a high capacity for organizing and managing administrative tasks.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming and assisting families, students, and staff in person and over the phone, as well as managing school documentation and filing systems. They will also provide administrative support to the management team and handle email correspondence and bilingual communications in both languages.
