Cumming Group are looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager to join our team in the Madrid office. You will lead the delivery of a large-scale mission-critical development from construction through to commissioning. The successful candidate will act as the client's representative, overseeing contractor performance, project controls, stakeholder management and overall project delivery throughout the programme lifecycle. This opportunity is ideally suited to a construction professional with a strong background in data centres, mission-critical facilities, or complex industrial developments, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams and major contractors. Key Responsibilities: • Lead day-to-day delivery of data centre construction activities on site., • Act as the primary client representative, ensuring project objectives are achieved., • Manage contractors, consultants and key project stakeholders throughout all phases of delivery., • Oversee programme, cost, quality and health & safety performance., • Monitor construction progress and proactively identify and mitigate project risks., • Coordinate project reporting, governance activities and executive-level stakeholder communications., • Ensure compliance with client standards, industry best practice and local regulatory requirements., • Support commissioning, testing and handover activities to ensure successful project completion., • Drive collaboration across design, construction and operational teams. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager or Construction Manager delivering large-scale construction projects., • Demonstrable track record delivering data centre, mission-critical, hyperscale, life sciences, industrial or advanced technology facilities., • Strong experience managing Civil and structural works, MEP installations, Mission-critical infrastructure, Commissioning and integrated systems testing, • Significant experience managing contractor-led delivery on large and complex construction projects., • Strong understanding of project controls, programme management and construction contracts., • Thorough knowledge of health, safety and quality management practices., • Previous experience delivering data centre projects for hyperscale, colocation or enterprise clients., • Understanding of Spanish construction regulations, permitting requirements and supply chains., • Experience managing projects through commissioning and operational readiness phases.
