The Role As an integral part of our global research team, RRA researchers are instrumental in managing the entire executive search process, from proactively identifying business opportunities to successfully closing assignments. Within the team, the Research Consultant serves as a senior profile, bringing advanced expertise and leadership to complex projects and guiding junior colleagues. Our researchers, including Research Consultants, play a pivotal role in evaluating top leadership talent and conducting comprehensive cultural fit analyses for organizations across the globe. Through their expertise and rigorous approach, RRA researchers ensure that clients are matched with leaders who not only possess the required skills and experience but also align with the unique values and culture of each organization. Responsibilities Search Execution: • Develops and executes compelling search strategies in close partnership with Consultants, continuously refining approaches to achieve optimal client outcomes., • Balances multiple projects efficiently, meets deadlines, and proactively communicates progress and priorities to team members., • Produces comprehensive reports on target companies, market sources, and candidates, ensuring all insights are meticulously captured in the database., • Identifies and evaluates potential prospects, skillfully representing clients in the market and ensuring candidates are market-validated., • Builds strong candidate slates through rigorous assessment, including reference and source calls, measuring against experience, competencies, and culture fit., • Supports Consultants throughout the entire search process, assisting with client and candidate management as needed., • Engages confidently and articulately with clients and candidates, ensuring each interaction is impactful and well-prepared., • Maintains proficiency with tools and technology to drive high-quality outcomes and efficient project execution. Market Knowledge and Insight Generation: • Maintains up-to-date awareness of industry dynamics, including strategic activities, leadership changes, and emerging trends, sharing relevant updates with the team., • Monitors specific markets to identify opportunities and supports Consultants in relationship development and business growth., • Builds trust-based relationships within candidate pools through deep market understanding and credibility., • Proactively conducts research and generates insights, creating supporting materials for pitches and client presentations., • Partners with the Knowledge team to capture both search and non-search intelligence in RRA’s proprietary database., • Leverages domain expertise to support Consultants and strengthen RRA’s market position., • Attends and contributes to client meetings as appropriate, adding value through market insights., • Attends and contributes to internal RRA sector meetings, adding value through market insights. Candidate Profile Education Bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited institution. Experience A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant post-degree business experience in a commercial or business-related role with a focus on data gathering and analysis, or within the research function of a related practice at a top-tier executive search firm.)
