Science For Change (SFC) is a knowledge-based and consultancy enterprise that addresses social, environmental and health challenges through co-creation, collaborative research and citizen science towards social innovation. We manage a diverse portfolio of projects funded by European programs such as Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe, as well as other National, Regional and Local funding schemes, such as international, national, regional and local Public and Private Calls and Tenders. We also have a portfolio of private innovation consultancy projects. Our fields of expertise are many, from sustainability, circular economy, and territorial monitoring, to health, and social sciences and humanities, including the arts. We involve the public in the research process in all our projects to co-produce new knowledge, co-create innovations accepted by all, and inform public policies to improve society. We also use innovative science communication to democratise science, using the arts or digital means to reach wider audiences. The Role We are seeking a proactive and rigorous PMO (post-award) to oversee and coordinate our European projects portfolio. You will ensure alignment between Project Managers' performance and our strategic objectives, managing planning, execution and monitoring of our projects in collaboration with project managers and partners. Key Responsibilities : Project Management • Coordinate planning, time management and progress of European projects (post-award), • Implement standards, best practices and project governance structures, • Control workforce time efficiency in coordination with Operations Director and Finance Manager, • Design and conduct Monitoring & Evaluation to guarantee efficiency and excellence, • Monitor budgets and propose corrective measures when necessary, • Manage project deliverables and support technical implementation, • Prepare technical reports aligned with work plan requirements, • Manage project budgets and prepare financial justifications, • Manage Grant Agreements, Consortium Agreements and research project contracts, • Ensure compliance with European funding regulations and internal policies, • Act as primary liaison between internal teams, external partners and funding bodies, • Follow up on work and compliance with established deadlines, • Maintain contact with European consortium partners and clients, • Present projects at events and attend consortium meetings, • Prepare deliverables, dissemination articles and scientific papers Required Qualifications : Education • Master's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, European Studies, Engineering, or related fields, • Minimum 3-5 years in project management, preferably in EU-funded projects, • Proven track record in post-award management of European research and innovation projects, • Experience coordinating multi-partner consortia and international collaborations, • Demonstrated experience in budget management and financial reporting for EU projects, • In-depth knowledge of EU funding frameworks and financial regulations (Horizon Europe), • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Asana, Trello), • Strong understanding of technical and financial reporting requirements for the European Commission, • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, • Analytical thinking for budget monitoring and deviation analysis, • Strategic vision for identifying opportunities and project exploitation, • High degree of autonomy and self-motivation, • Flexibility and adaptability, • Resilience under pressure, • Collaborative spirit and integrity What We Offer • Meaningful work on impactful research projects, • Dynamic, collaborative and international work environment, • Professional growth opportunities, • Flexible work arrangements (2 remote working days per week), • Office with terrace in central Barcelona, • Competitive salary based on experience and skills, • 6-month probation period How to Apply Send your CV and motivation letter in English to: Subject: PMO Manager at Science For Change Application deadline: September 23rd, 2025 The selection process will start as suitable candidates apply.
