Experteer Overview In this role you will lead procurement activities for materials and equipment on complex projects from pre-award to closeout. You will develop purchasing strategies, evaluate bids, and manage supplier performance to meet project baselines. You will collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Logistics, and other stakeholders, guiding junior buyers and leading weekly purchasing meetings. You will ensure compliance with terms, resolve disputes, and uphold Fluor's Health, Safety u0026amp; Environmental and Sustainability policies. This position offers impactful work shaping project outcomes and progressing large-scale engineering initiatives. Compensaciones / Beneficios • Execute purchasing activities and strategy development for critical engineered equipment and major bulk materials in accordance with project requirements and material management plans • Review project scope and prime contract; modify standard templates and terms for review • Prepare bid packages, manage bidder communications and clarification meetings, and administer quotation timelines • Conduct commercial bid evaluations considering pricing, terms, delivery, compliance and risk against baseline documents • Issue purchase orders and manage full lifecycle including change orders, price adjustments and supplier exceptions • Negotiate terms and resolve exceptions; address related claims • Analyze and propose solutions to problems with varying complexity aligned to project objectives • Validate supplier invoices and resolve discrepancies promptly • Provide guidance to intermediate and junior buyers on the project team • Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Logistics, and other stakeholders • Lead weekly purchasing meetings to align expectations and schedules • Plan and organize own work and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines • Adhere to Fluor’s Health, Safety u0026 Environmental and Sustainability Policies • Travel as needed • Other duties as assigned Responsabilidades • Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study • Ten years of work-related experience (or fourteen years if non-degreed) • Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors and contractors • Job-related technical knowledge to complete the role • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of relevant statutes and guidelines • Attention to detail and time-conscious work style Requisitos principales •
