MISSION We are looking for a hands-on and business-oriented Industrial HR Manager (m/f/d) to lead the People function at the company’s main site in Spain, supporting several business units, production areas and warehouse operations. Our client is an international industrial group with a strong manufacturing presence across Europe, the Americas, Asia and North Africa, employing more than 500 people worldwide. This is a broad HR generalist leadership role requiring solid expertise in labour relations and the ability to manage the full employee lifecycle within a complex industrial environment. The successful candidate will combine strategic understanding with a pragmatic, close-to-the-business approach. The role focuses on ensuring a compliant, business-oriented and efficient HR management model in a complex industrial environment, with a strong emphasis on collective bargaining agreements, legal compliance, HR advisory to managers and the digitalization of HR processes. The person will act as a key partner to local management while working closely with Corporate HR. KEY RESPONSABILITIES - Lead the local HR function for the Spanish site, ensuring alignment with corporate HR policies and the specific needs of the different business lines. - Manage the application of several collective bargaining agreements, ensuring legal and operational compliance across production, warehouse and office environments. - Act as the main HR point of contact with employee representatives and works councils, leading regular communication, consultation and negotiation processes. - Advise site management and line managers on labour law matters, including contracts, working conditions, disciplinary procedures, dismissals, sanctions, internal policies and employee relations topics. - Ensure the correct application of Spanish labour legislation in an industrial environment, including shifts, working calendars, production-related specificities and warehouse operations. - Manage labour conflicts, disciplinary files, mediation processes and employee relations cases when required. - Support and coordinate equality plans, compliance initiatives, internal policies and HR processes across the different legal entities/business units. - Lead and coordinate the local HR team, including payroll, health & safety/prevention, local talent/selection/training support and HR administration-related functions. - Work closely with Corporate HR on global HR processes such as talent management, recruitment, training, performance management and HR systems. - Promote the digitalization and optimization of HR processes, ensuring efficient use of HR tools and platforms such as HCM, ATS, time management and related systems. - Support managers in workforce planning, organizational changes, employee development and operational HR decision-making. - Collaborate with external providers when needed, including labour advisors, occupational risk prevention services, payroll providers or legal/labour specialists. CANDIDATE PROFILE Qualifications Requirements: - Solid experience as HR Manager, HR Business Partner or Labour Relations Manager within an industrial, manufacturing, logistics, warehouse or plant environment. - Strong background in labour relations, collective bargaining agreements, works councils and Spanish labour law. - Proven experience managing employee relations topics autonomously, including disciplinary procedures, sanctions, conflicts, dismissals and compliance-related matters. - Previous exposure to blue collar environments, production shifts, working calendars and operational labour law topics. - Experience coordinating or managing a small HR team, ideally covering payroll, HR administration, prevention/health & safety, recruitment, training or HR operations. - Ability to work closely with site management, corporate HR and operational managers in a practical, business-oriented and hands-on way. - Comfortable working with digital HR tools, ideally including HCM platforms, ATS, time management tools or similar systems. - Native Spanish and fluent level of English both oral and in written, with the ability to interact with international HR stakeholders. - Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills, especially in complex employee relations or works council environments. - Structured, autonomous and resilient profile, able to combine strategic HR perspective with operational execution in a plant environment.
