Are you ready to start a new professional adventure as an Senior Automation Engineer – Pharma in one of our opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector, working full remote from Spain? What will you do? • Design, develop, and maintain automation architectures for pharmaceutical plants (drug manufacturing machines, packaging lines, etc.). - Manage the software development of automation systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI, supervision systems and data monitoring cockpits). - Analyze and define communication protocols between machines and systems (PLC–SCADA–MES/IT), ensuring end‑to‑end integration. - Coordinate with different departments (IT, production, quality, maintenance, process engineering) to ensure technical and functional alignment. - Support commissioning, start‑up and performance optimization of automated lines. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (GMP, GAMP, FDA/EMA, pharma; food & beverage is a plus). - Prepare and maintain technical documentation (functional specifications, FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ, operating manuals). - Act as a technical reference / team leader on automation projects, supporting colleagues and stakeholders. ✍️ What do we require? • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics or similar. - 5–10 years of experience as an Automation Engineer in the pharmaceutical industry (alternatively food & beverage or other highly regulated sectors). - Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, HMI/data monitoring cockpits and main industrial communication protocols (e.g. OPC UA, Modbus, Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.). - Hands‑on experience programming automation languages (e.g. IEC 61131‑3: Ladder, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram; additional IT languages are a plus). - Availability to work full remote from Spain (no regular travel required). - Fluent English (C2) and Spanish (C2); any additional language is a plus. ✨ What do we offer? • An international community bringing together more than 110 different nationalities. - An environment where trust is central: 70% of our top managers started their careers at entry level. - A solid training system with our internal Academy and more than 250 available modules. - A vibrant work environment with frequent internal events (afterworks, team buildings, etc.). - A strong commitment to CSR, especially through our WeCare Together program.
