ABOUT THE JOB We are looking for a Project Control Professional to join the Corporate PMC team in our Bilbao, Madrid or Barcelona offices. The Project Controls Professional will support the Global Corporate PMC by establishing, implementing, and maintaining standardized project controls processes across multiple capital projects and regions. The role ensures consistent governance, cost and schedule transparency, risk visibility, and performance reporting to enable informed decision‑making at corporate and executive levels. This position operates across the full project lifecycle, especially resourcing and mobilization phases, and interfaces with project managers, engineering, procurement, construction, finance, and external contractors. Key responsabilities: • Project Controls Governance: implement and uphold global project controls standards, ensuring consistent cost, schedule, risk, and change management across regions, supporting gate reviews and audits, and driving continuous improvement through lessons learned., • Resourcing: lead the external sourcing of project‑controls professionals to ensure timely, efficient staffing for new and ongoing projects., • Planning & Scheduling: ensure development and validation of integrated project schedules (Level 1–4/5), including critical path analysis, progress measurement, contractor schedule alignment, and schedule risk analysis., • Cost Control & Forecasting: guide the establishment and monitoring of budgets, CBS structures, commitments, and forecasts, identifying variances early and supporting cost mitigation and financial close‑out., • Progress Measurement & Performance: implement earned value management and related performance metrics, analysing CPI/SPI, productivity, and progress curves, while supporting portfolio‑level benchmarking., • Risk & Change Management: facilitate risk identification and analysis, maintain robust risk registers and contingencies, support disciplined change control, and ensure mitigation actions are tracked and reported., • Reporting & Dashboards: prepare high‑quality reports and dashboards for project, portfolio, and executive audiences, consolidating regional data and providing clear insights and recommendations., • Stakeholder & Contractor Interface: collaborate with project managers, regional teams, and contractors to review schedule, cost, and progress submissions, supporting claims prevention through accurate records and analysis.
