Reporting to the José Lladó Technological Center, Proprietary Technologies Division and the Technological Innovation area, we are seeking a Process Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D&I projects who has participated in full R&D projects, as well as in the design and construction of pilot plants related to metallurgical and hydrometallurgical processes, process intensification, and the development of recycling processes and recovery of critical raw materials. Required Knowledge: • Knowledge of extractive metallurgy, hydrometallurgy, pyrometallurgy, and electrodeposition, • Knowledge of process intensification, • Knowledge of the development of recycling processes, • Specific knowledge of critical raw material recovery processes, • Knowledge and experience participating in industrial R&D&I projects funded by national and European public organizations, • Knowledge and use of chemical and fluid dynamics process simulators (Aspen HYSYS, METSIM, Floworks, COMSOL, ANSYS, etc.), • Knowledge in the development of techno-economic process models, • Experience in laboratory-scale and pilot-plant experimentation, • Collaborate in the preparation of technology scouting studies, • Prepare work plans together with the Project Manager, • Plan, manage, coordinate, and supervise the work of the technical team assigned to the project, • Identify new opportunities within assigned projects, • Coordinate, together with the Project Manager, project-related interactions with other public or private institutions, • Prepare technical justifications for funded projects or technical reports for customer projects, as required by the Project Manager, • Supervise, generate, and approve laboratory reports produced during the research activities under their responsibility, • Competitive salary based on the candidate’s qualifications, • Flexible schedule from Monday to Friday, • Professional development in a leading company involved in cutting-edge projects, • Workplace: San Fernando de Henares (Madrid)
