We are looking for a versatile and motivated Junior Software Developer eager to grow professionally and join our software development team. In this role, you will: • Work closely with senior engineers who will mentor you and support your technical development., • Contribute to the design, development, and integration of digital applications that power the future of industrial manufacturing., • Work on innovative, international digital transformation projects, including Industry 4.0, data integration, and IT/OT convergence. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience contributing to projects such as building industrial data fabric ecosystems that standardize and contextualize manufacturing data so it’s ready for AI, machine learning, and next-generation analytics; developing predictive maintenance applications that detect anomalies before they occur to prevent lost batches; and creating digital solutions that allow pharmaceutical manufacturers to focus on their processes while we take care of the technology powering them. These projects will give you exposure to the full digital manufacturing stack and help you grow quickly as a software engineer in our collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities • Contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of digital applications and systems., • Write clean, efficient, and well-structured code following best practices., • Collaborate with the team to understand requirements, propose solutions, and support technical design., • Perform troubleshooting, testing, and debugging to ensure software reliability., • Participate in code reviews and help improve development standards., • Stay updated on emerging technologies, frameworks, and trends related to Industry 4.0 and digitalization. Required Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field., • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C#, Java, JavaScript or LUA., • Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and non-relational databases (MongoDB)., • Understanding of software development tools and methodologies (Git, Agile/Scrum)., • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and eagerness to learn., • Curiosity, creativity, and a passion for experimentation with new technologies. Soft Skills • Professional proficiency in English., • Strong collaboration skills when working with multidisciplinary engineering teams., • Clear and structured verbal and written communication., • Positive mindset and willingness to grow in a supportive environment. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) • Interest in digitalization, IT/OT systems, or Industry 4.0., • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) or containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)., • Experience with APIs, data pipelines, or integration technologies., • Interest in UX/UI design or font-end frameworks., • Experience with industrial data and digitalization platforms such as Aspentech Inmation, AVEVA PI, Ignition, CopaData Zenon, or Siemens Industrial Edge., • Familiarity with industrial automation concepts (PLC logic, OPC UA, SCADA, historians)., • Experience with time-series data analysis., • Experience or interest in the pharmaceutical or other regulated industries.
