In Spain, this Senior Manager Finance, Procurement & Logistics role is a hands-on leadership position at the centre of Finance, Procurement, Logistics and Operations, strengthening cost discipline, improving supplier value, supporting sharper decisions and helping the business grow profitably. Why this role matters This role is critical to the next stage of PPG’s growth in Spain. It is not a back-office finance position; it requires someone close to the numbers, close to the operation and present where decisions are made. The right person will challenge how things work, connect insight with action and drive visible improvement across cost, procurement, operations and profitability. Reporting line and team Reports to Southern Europe Finance, with a dotted line and operational link to the Spain General Manager. The role leads a team of seven across Finance and Procurement, with oversight of Logistics, and works closely with international shared service finance teams to ensure reporting is accurate, timely and decision-ready. What you will own Integrated Finance, Procurement and Logistics leadership Lead Finance, Procurement and Logistics in Spain as an integrated business support function, setting the rhythm for performance management, purchasing decisions, cost control and operational follow-up. Business partner to Regional Finance and the Spain General Manager Act as a trusted business partner to Regional Finance and the Spain General Manager, working closely with local teams, Operations and HR to bring clear financial judgement to staffing, productivity, service model, pricing and cost improvement decisions. Co-own the main cost drivers of the business, especially food and beverage performance, staffing structure and productivity, and translate analysis into practical action on the ground. Cost leadership Own cost performance across Spain, moving beyond reporting into active intervention, disciplined follow-up and structural improvement. Drive food and beverage cost control through stronger visibility of consumption, waste, purchasing prices and operational discipline. Improve staffing efficiency by challenging productivity, scheduling, workforce structure and deployment against business volumes. Proactive procurement leadership Lead procurement with a proactive, commercial mindset, using it as a performance lever to improve value, reliability, cost transparency and supplier discipline. Move the function from reactive purchasing to forward planning, price benchmarking, contract value improvement and purchasing decisions grounded in consumption, business volumes and operational needs. Operational understanding Stay close to lounges, kitchens and frontline teams to understand the operational drivers behind financial results and convert insight into action. Challenge cost per passenger, waste, staffing ratios and other operational indicators with a practical improvement mindset. Financial reporting and shared services Work with international shared service finance teams to ensure reporting is accurate, timely and useful for decision-making. Validate key outputs, protect data integrity and translate monthly reporting, budgets and forecasts into clear business actions. Commercial support Support pricing decisions, commercial initiatives and business cases with clear financial analysis, ensuring growth opportunities are assessed through profitability, margin and operational feasibility. Governance, compliance and financial control Own the financial control environment for Spain, ensuring compliance with local accounting, tax, statutory and corporate governance requirements while maintaining strong discipline across business processes and financial records. Coordinate audits, statutory filings, tax reporting and regulatory submissions, escalating material risks and control gaps with clear ownership and follow-through. Treasury, cash management and working capital Oversee cash flow, liquidity and working capital for Spain, with clear focus on receivables, payables, vendor payment priorities and early identification of cash or collection risks. Partner with Commercial and Operations teams to strengthen credit control, improve AR ageing and support timely recovery of outstanding balances. External stakeholder management Act as the main finance contact for auditors, tax advisors, tax authorities, banks and external legal or corporate advisors, representing Spain Finance with regional and HQ stakeholders on statutory, treasury, control and legal entity matters. Who we are looking for 8 to 12 years of finance experience, ideally in business partnering, operational finance or multi-site environments. Experience in hospitality, food and beverage, retail, travel or another operational service business. Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, challenge performance and convert analysis into operational action. Solid knowledge of accounting, tax, statutory reporting, financial controls, treasury and corporate governance.
