We are always on the lookout for future‑oriented talent – want to join the ride? /ppWärtsilä Integral Operative Control Centre (GOCC) is a virtual organisation responsible for operative control across all revenue streams and product lines within Wärtsilä. We are currently seeking a new Controller to join our team of controlling professionals. This temporary position, lasting 18months, is based in Bermeo, Spain, with other locations in Spain considered. /ph3We offer /h3ulliThe opportunity to work with professionals from different locations around the world. /liliSupport in Capacity Costs and Investment Controlling, focusing on European and African network companies. /liliInvolvement in improving controlling processes, learning, and deploying robotics and other modern controlling tools, and building our GOCC community globally. /li /ulh3Main responsibilities /h3ulliAnalyse and monitor the cost centre structure and spending using Wärtsilä processes and tools. /liliPerform period‑end closing tasks and collaborate with different stakeholders in the organisation. /liliAct as an expert in your field, train others, and actively seek process and tool improvements. /liliChallenge conventions and identify opportunities for process improvement. /liliMaintain cost centre master data. /liliAllocate costs and intra‑group fees to business units. /liliCalculate technical service cost rates. /liliMonitor and analyse data quality related to capacity costs and investments. /liliProcess investment requests in accordance with the Wärtsilä Accounting Manual. /liliMaintain and validate Asset Master data and Asset register. /liliSupport stakeholders and ask questions to understand and improve processes. /liliProvide standard business reporting to stakeholders on department costs and investments. /liliPerform internal control tasks for Capacity Costs and Investments. /liliSupport testing activities in SAP and other tools. /liliSupport internal and external audits of the companies. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulliB.Sc. or M.Sc. Degree, preferably in Finance and Accounting. /liliExcellent English language skills. /liliExcellent SAP S4 skills, especially in the FICO module. /liliGood financial knowledge, reporting, and analysing skills, such as Cost and Investment Management and Balance Sheet analysis. /liliProficiency in other reporting tools such as Qlikview and Power BI. /liliAbility to work efficiently in virtual teams and confidently communicate across teams, functions, and levels within the organisation. /liliAbility to explain complex issues to stakeholders. /liliDevelopment mindset with a proactive can‑do attitude and willingness to challenge. /li /ulh3Why you and us? /h3pYou are evaluated – as your true self.
