Set among its own century-old vineyards, DosTerras curates distinct culinary rituals throughout the day, offering a refined yet relaxed environment for food, wine, and nature lovers. Role Description The Director of Event Management is a full-time, on-site role based in Marçà, responsible for leading all aspects of events at DosTerras Wine Garden & Guest House. This role is responsible for the full cycle, from Sales and Sourcing to Planning and Execution, fully responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of events such as weddings, corporate retreats, wine tastings, private dinners, and special culinary experiences. As a new business launch, you will need to set up a full network of event service providers, including catering, music, flowers, decor, equipment, audiovisuals, transport, etc. negotiating collaboration contracts to achieve excellence of services and profitable results. The Director will manage event timelines, vendor relationships, staffing schedules, and guest communications to ensure seamless, high-quality experiences aligned with the DosTerras brand. Daily responsibilities include Sales, Marketing and event sourcing through the appropriate channels, meeting with clients to understand their needs, developing event proposals, managing budgets and contracts, supervising setup and breakdown, set up of events and monitoring service quality during events. The role collaborates closely with culinary, hospitality, and wine external teams to design unique, on-brand experiences and actively optimises sales efforts by converting inquiries into confirmed bookings and nurturing long-term client relationships. Qualifications Strong event leadership background, with proven experience in Event Marketing & Sales, Planning and Management for hospitality, luxury, or wine-focused venues. Solid financial acumen, including Budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization for events. Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with guests, internal teams, and external partners in a clear, professional manner. Experience in Sales, including sourcing and converting leads, negotiating contracts, and building lasting client relationships. Experience supervising teams and suppliers during events, with the ability to organize schedules, delegate tasks, and maintain high service standards under pressure. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously. Experience in wine, gastronomy, or boutique hospitality is highly desirable; familiarity with the Priorat region is an advantage. Comfort working on-site, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the event calendar. Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, or better Event Management, or equivalent professional experience. Proficiency in relevant office and event management tools;
