The position is designed to bring in engineering talent to focus on modernizing operational processes and documentation. To achieve this, the role will concentrate on two primary areas: Digitalization Process Automation, which involves standardizing technical documents and automating administrative tasks, and Lean Manufacturing Continuous Improvement, focused on analyzing assembly processes to implement efficiency gains. These activities directly support the plant's goal of enhancing productivity and preserving organizational knowledge. Given the focus on digital and process enhancement, the ideal candidate will be an engineering student with foundational skills in programming, data analysis, and an interest in industrial manufacturing. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to apply academic knowledge to real-world factory challenges are essential for success in this role. /p h3How You’ll Make an Impact /h3 ul liStandardize and digitize technical documentation to create a centralized, accessible knowledge base. /li liDevelop scripts and applications to automate repetitive administrative and data-entry tasks. /li liCreate and maintain data-driven tools, such as dashboards and reports, for production and maintenance analysis. /li liCollaborate with engineers to ensure digital documentation is accurate and user-friendly. /li liAnalyze generator assembly processes to identify inefficiencies and sources of waste. /li liPropose and implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance workflow and productivity /li /ul h3What You Bring /h3 ul liCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, or a related field). /li liThis is a student/intern position; no prior professional experience is required. /li liAcademic or personal project experience in programming, data analysis, or process improvement is highly valued. /li liProficient in programming languages such as Python and VBA, with strong data analysis and process mapping skills. /li liFamiliarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel, and fundamental database management concepts. /li liKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles, industrial engineering concepts, continuous improvement methodologies, and foundational artificial intelligence. /li /ul h3Who is Siemens Gamesa? /h3 pSiemens Gamesa is part of Siemens Energy, a global leader in energy technology with a rich legacy of innovation spanning over 150 years.
