Site Procurement Manager Ensures uninterrupted supply to the plant while optimizing cost, quality, and supplier performance. Supply assurance & operations (plant focus), • Ensure on‑time supply of materials and services to support production plans., • Manage shortages, escalations, and supplier recovery plans., • Execute purchase‑to‑pay (P2P) processes and align inventory., • Coordinate with production, planning, and logistics teams., • B. Cost & productivity, • Deliver material productivity and cost‑savings targets., • Support should‑cost, VA/VE, and re‑sourcing actions., • Monitor spend and identify cost‑optimization opportunities., • C. Supplier management & performance, • Manage local supplier relationships and performance (QCD)., • Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and development plans., • Drive supplier accountability and corrective actions., • D. Accountable for sourcing execution & alignment with strategy, • Implement global/category sourcing strategies at site level., • Lead RFQs, negotiations, and supplier selection for site needs., • Execute dual sourcing, localization, and risk‑mitigation plans., • E. Accountable for risk & resilience, • Identify and mitigate supply chain risks., • Maintain business continuity plans and safety stocks., • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and contracts., • F. Stakeholder & cross‑functional coordination, • Work closely with Manufacturing / Operations, Planning (SIOP / S&OE), Engineering / R&D, Quality & Supplier Development., • Align sourcing decisions with plant priorities and technical requirements., • G. Team leadership, • Lead and develop Category Procurement Buyer (Factory Level) team., • Set priorities, monitor performance, and coach on best practices.Typical KPIs, • Cost savings / material productivity., • Supplier OTD and shortages., • Inventory / working capital., • Supplier quality (PPM, defects)., • Procurement cycle time., • Spend under management / compliance., • Supplier risk & dual sourcing metrics.Required Skills & Competencies, • Strong negotiation & contract management., • Analytical mindset (cost breakdown, should‑cost)., • Supplier relationship management., • Risk management & problem solving., • Cross‑functional leadership., • Familiarity with ERP systems (JDEdwards/SAP/Ariba) and data analytics.Qualifications, • Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business., • Typically 5–10+ years in procurement / sourcing., • Experience in manufacturing / plant environment., • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, RFQ/contracting, supply chain processes., • Fluency in English & Spanish.Compensation and Benefits Annual salary ranges from €47,500.00 to €94,500.00, depending on skills, training, experience, and other qualifying factors. The role includes short‑term economic incentives subject to the plan requirements.
