At Maisa, we believe great work happens when people have the freedom to choose the setup that works best for them. Prefer the flexibility of remote work? You’re welcome to work remotely. Most of our roles are currently focused on Spain, although depending on the position and profile, we may be open to hiring from other locations. Our hybrid setup gives you the option to connect and work alongside teammates at our hubs in Valencia, Barcelona, Madrid and Murcia. And as we grow, our spaces will grow with us: when we build a team of more than 10 people in a location, our ambition is to create a hub there too. We also want the time we spend together in person to be worth it. Today, that includes weekly transportation from the city center to our Valencia headquarters and weekly team lunches in Valencia and Barcelona, with more experiences to come as our teams and hubs evolve. We’re still shaping how we work together—and that’s part of what makes joining Maisa now specifically exciting. Everyone who joins has the opportunity to influence how we collaborate, connect, and build our culture. Rather than inheriting a finished playbook, you’ll have a voice in creating it. As an Operations Manager within our Finance & Operations team, you’ll play a key role in keeping Maisa’s day-to-day operations running smoothly while helping us build smarter, more scalable ways of working as we grow. This is a hands‑on role with two important dimensions: running our core operational processes and continuously improving them. You’ll take ownership of recurring operations across employee onboarding and offboarding, Accounts Payable, vendor onboarding, expenses and corporate cards, and access provisioning. You’ll work closely with teams across Maisa to make sure these processes are reliable, efficient, and provide a great internal experience. But we don’t want you to simply maintain the status quo. As you become familiar with our operations, you’ll identify bottlenecks, repetitive tasks and opportunities for improvement, then take ownership of redesigning and automating them. You’ll have dedicated capacity to work on process optimisation and automation, with that part of your role growing as the processes you own become increasingly efficient and scalable. • Own and coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding operations, ensuring new joiners have the systems, access and equipment they need from day one., • Manage recurring Finance Operations activities, including Accounts Payable, vendor onboarding, expenses and corporate card administration., • Coordinate access provisioning and removal across our internal systems., • Maintain clear, accurate and scalable operational processes and documentation., • Work closely with Finance, People and other teams to resolve operational issues and keep processes moving., • Identify manual, repetitive or inefficient workflows and determine how they can be simplified or eliminated., • Build and own a roadmap for operational improvements and automation., • Redesign workflows and implement solutions using automation, AI, no-code/low-code tools or lightweight scripting where appropriate., • Measure the impact of improvements through indicators such as turnaround time, reliability and reduction of manual work., • Continuously look for opportunities to make Maisa’s internal operations simpler, faster and scalable. This role is designed to evolve with you. Initially, you'll spend more time learning and running our existing processes. As you gain context and improve them, you'll progressively dedicate more of your time to automation, process design and building the operational systems that help Maisa scale. We’re looking for someone who enjoys getting into the details, takes genuine ownership of the work, and doesn't accept “that’s just how we do it” as a good enough reason for an inefficient process. You’ll likely bring around 2–5 years of experience in Operations, Business Operations, Finance Operations or a related hands‑on operational role. • Experience owning at least one recurring operational process end to end, such as employee onboarding, Accounts Payable/Receivable, billing, procurement, vendor onboarding, expense management or access provisioning., • A strong sense of ownership and initiative — you identify what needs to be done or improved without waiting to be told., • A hands‑on attitude and willingness to get into the operational details yourself., • Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills, with the ability to understand why a process isn’t working and find a better way to do it., • Experience improving, redesigning or documenting operational processes — not only executing them., • Confidence working with technology and the ability to learn new tools and systems quickly., • Strong organisation and attention to detail, particularly when managing recurring processes, deadlines and multiple stakeholders., • Genuine curiosity about AI, automation and how technology can eliminate repetitive operational work., • Professional working proficiency in English., • Based in Spain, ideally Barcelona., • Experience building workflow automations using tools such as Zapier, Make, Apps Script or similar no‑code/low‑code solutions., • Experience using AI tools or AI‑assisted workflows to improve operational processes., • Some experience with lightweight scripting, including using AI to help you build solutions., • Startup or scale‑up experience, particularly within a rapidly growing organisation., • Experience with identity, access or device‑management processes., • Exposure to Spanish employment administration., • Experience with tools such as Personio, Revolut People, Okta, Jamf, Brex or DocuSign. A degree in Business, Engineering, STEM or a related field is welcome, but it’s not what will determine your success here. We’re much more interested in your ability to take ownership, learn quickly, solve problems and turn inefficient operations into better systems. #J-18808-Ljbffr
