What You’ll Do • 💻 Work with us on your Master’s thesis in close contact with the founder and with the support of the team., • ✍️ Write reports and blog posts showcasing your work to the world., • 🧑💻 Write clean, maintainable, and high-performance code (Go, Rust, or Solidity)., • 🧪 Design and execute tests to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of your software., • 📏 Profile and benchmark to crush latency and resource usage., • 🏗️ Own the full software lifecycle: requirements, design, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring. About You • 📚 Master’s student in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related technical field., • 📍 Living in the north of Spain and able to commute to León once every couple of weeks., • 🇺🇸 Comfortable working day-to-day in English., • 🎯 Pragmatic decision-maker: able to evaluate trade-offs based on constraints., • 🛠️ Able to work independently with minimal supervision., • 💻 Experience with at least two of C/C++, Go, Rust, or Python., • 🗄️ Experience with databases and Git., • 🐳 Experience with Docker and containers., • 🛜 Familiar with blockchain fundamentals, consensus algorithms, smart contracts, peer-to-peer networks, and data structures such as Merkle trees., • 🌐 International experience living abroad. Thesis Topics • 🔗 Implementation of a Hash Time-Locked Contracts (HTLC) protocol over two EVM-compatible blockchains., • 🔐 Integration of ECDSA threshold signatures in a wallet., • 🛡️ Implementation of a cybersecurity algorithm to prevent address-poisoning scams., • 🌲 Implementation of a Rust-based indexer directly reading the Ethereum state., • 🎯 Wildcard application: If you have an idea, we’re all ears.
