ph3Role Overview /h3 pThe Global Export and Agency Finance (Structuring and Product Development) Associate role is based in Boadilla (Madrid). The Global Export and Agency Finance team is the front‑office origination and execution platform for Export Credit Agency (ECA covered, MLAs) transactions worldwide. The Associate supports business development and plays an active role throughout the execution lifecycle of ECA‑backed financing transactions, gaining exposure to the full spectrum of structures. The role also involves moving towards origination and/or structuring based on business needs and individual strengths. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport senior team members in the structuring and execution of ECA‑covered financing transactions globally; responsible for structuring and coordination of ECA‑backed financing transactions. /li liContribute to business development activities, including new ECA products, opportunity screening and coordination with bankers and ECAs. /li liDrive internal coordination processes across relevant stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, ES, Syndication, Middle Office, Project Finance, etc.). /li liPrepare high‑quality internal and external materials, ensuring strong analytical content and professional presentation standards. /li liSupport coordination of the execution process through internal approval stages (business committees, Risk approvals, legal and middle office sign‑off, etc.). /li liActively participate in the structuring and documentation phase, focusing on core finance documentation and ECA policies. /li liContribute to the development of value‑added financing solutions, supporting the evolution of more complex structures. /li liContribute to a flexible, dynamic, and team‑oriented working culture. /li /ul h3Professional Experience /h3 ul liMinimum 4 years of experience in advisory and/or lending roles within Structured Finance, Project Finance and/or Export Finance. (Required) /li liSolid understanding of Export Finance and/or non‑recourse financing structures and related legal and contractual frameworks. (Required) /li liInternational experience is highly valued. (Required) /li /ul h3Education /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Engineering. (Required) /li /ul h3Languages /h3 ul liFluent English and Spanish. (Required) /li liGerman and/or French and/or another language considered a plus. (Preferred) /li /ul h3Hard Skills /h3 ul liStrong structured finance fundamentals and ability to assess transaction risks. (Required) /li liAbility to analyze and address contractual, commercial and technical issues. (Required) /li liStrong interdisciplinary skills across financing, structuring and documentation. (Required) /li liExcellent PowerPoint and presentation skills. (Required) /li liFinancial modeling skills are an advantage.
