Valencia
While the CEO focuses on growth, capital, strategy and partnerships, the COO turns ambition into predictable execution. You own delivery. weVLC is a Valencia-first real estate investment, transformation and flex-living platform with a full-cycle model across acquisition, renovation, furnishing, rental and day-to-day management. 150+ units under management | €30M+ completed investments | Path toward €100M+ | Full-cycle model | Valencia-first | Premium living brand The company has built a profitable entrepreneurial foundation and is now entering its next phase: growing project volume, professionalising operations, strengthening reporting and building the systems that allow weVLC to scale without losing quality, speed or culture. This is not about becoming a generic real estate operator. weVLC combines capital, transformation, hospitality, technology and community into one machine, with Valencia as the place to win first, completely. As COO, you turn ambition into predictable execution. This is a full-stack operating role across project delivery, renovation execution, financial control, compliance, investor success, tenant experience and team performance. You work on the organisation as much as in the organisation: building structure, installing rhythm, clarifying ownership and making sure the company scales through systems, not chaos. You will have the mandate to professionalise the operating model, build and lead the team, and make execution decisions across projects, operations and reporting. This is a senior leadership role with direct exposure to the CEO, board and international investors. You will be accountable for: • End-to-end operational execution across the weVLC platform, • Project delivery of property acquisitions, renovations and transformations, • Timeline reliability, budget discipline and quality control, • Operational P&L performance and project-level financial control, • Building, leading and professionalising the operational team, • Supplier, contractor and stakeholder coordination, • Compliance, liability and operational risk management, • Investor success, structured reporting and communication rhythm, • Tenant experience, community operations and service quality, • Scalable processes, dashboards, systems and accountability structures Success in this role means projects are delivered on time, on budget and to weVLC quality standards; teams know who owns what; project margins and operational performance are transparent; investors receive clear and reliable reporting; and residents experience weVLC as premium, responsive and connected. Your first 12 months In your first year, your focus will be to professionalise the operating machine behind weVLC’s next phase of growth. This means strengthening project, financial, risk and compliance control; building accountability across the team; improving investor reporting; and ensuring that project delivery, tenant experience and community operations scale to weVLC standards and local regulatory requirements. The business should become more predictable, more transparent, more compliant and easier to scale, without losing the entrepreneurial speed and ownership that made weVLC successful. The candidate we are looking for We are looking for a senior operator who wants real ownership. Someone who is motivated by complexity, structure and building a company that can scale. You may already operate at COO level, or you may be a strong Head of Operations, Operations Director, General Manager, Chief of Staff or platform leader ready to step into full operational responsibility. You bring the maturity to lead, the discipline to structure and the energy to operate in a fast-moving entrepreneurial environment. What you bring • 8–15+ years of relevant experience in operations, scaling companies, real estate, hospitality, proptech, flex-living, construction/project operations or investor‑backed platforms, • Proven ability to scale an operationally complex business from founder‑led to process‑led, • Experience managing multi‑project execution with budgets, timelines, suppliers and teams, • Strong financial, analytical and reporting capability, • Experience with operational P&L responsibility, project‑level financial control or portfolio performance, • Ability to design and implement scalable processes, KPIs, dashboards and reporting rhythms, • Experience building and leading performance‑driven teams, • Confidence working with founders, boards, investors and international stakeholders, • Strong English is mandatory; Spanish is a strong advantage, • Willingness to commit full‑time and in‑office in Valencia, • Real estate, renovation, property operations, hospitality, residential platform or flex‑living experience is highly relevant, but not the only route. What matters is the ability to translate operational discipline into a complex, physical, fast‑scaling platform. Mindset and culture You are structured, but not corporate. You bring clarity without slowing the company down. You are hands‑on, but senior: able to operate in the details while building the system above them. You are internationally minded and comfortable working with a diverse team, international tenants and investors from around the world. You are ownership‑driven, commercially aware and locally committed. You understand that operations, quality, tenant experience, compliance and investor trust all drive company value. Above all, you are mission‑led. You are motivated by building more than a business: a platform people want to belong to. weVLC operates with clarity, ownership and ambition. Our culture is built around being Crystal Clear, Crushing the Ceiling, acting with Extreme Ownership, building as locals in Valencia, making it a We Thing, and always choosing systems that Build to Scale. What we offer • Key leadership role in a fast‑scaling real estate platform, • Direct collaboration with the founder, board and international investors, • High level of autonomy and responsibility, • Senior leadership package including fixed compensation, performance‑based bonus and meaningful long‑term participation, • Opportunity to help scale a profitable company in one of Europe’s most attractive real‑estate markets, • A role at the centre of building the premium living brand of Valencia Why this role matters This role is for an operator who wants ownership, complexity and impact. Someone who can bring structure without killing speed. Someone who can work with local teams, international tenants and investors from around the world. Someone who understands that operational excellence is not just about efficiency, but about trust, quality, experience and long‑term value. The living revolution starts in Valencia. As COO, you build the machine that makes it real. #J-18808-Ljbffr
