My Lawyer in Spain is an independent firm of experienced, English‑speaking Spanish lawyers, Honorary Consuls, and Irish and English solicitors providing legal services across mainland Spain, the Balearic Islands, and the Canary Islands. The Lawyer will advise and represent clients on a variety of Spanish legal matters, which may include property transactions, inheritance and succession, family law, residency, and commercial issues. Daily tasks include meeting clients, gathering and reviewing documentation, drafting and reviewing contracts and legal opinions, and coordinating with notaries, registries, and public authorities. The role involves managing case files from initial consultation through resolution, ensuring clear communication of legal options and risks in plain English and Spanish. The Lawyer will also contribute to maintaining high professional standards, collaborating with colleagues to deliver tailored, client‑focused legal solutions. • Qualified Spanish Lawyer (Abogado/a) with current registration to practice in Spain; additional qualification as an English or Irish solicitor is an advantage., • Professional experience in Spanish law, ideally in areas such as real estate, inheritance, civil, commercial, or immigration law., • Strong client advisory skills, including the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly to international clients., • Fluency in Spanish and English, both written and spoken; additional European languages are a plus., • Proficiency in legal drafting, document review, and case management, with strong attention to detail and accuracy., • Demonstrated ability to work on‑site in a collaborative team, manage multiple matters, and meet deadlines under minimal supervision., • High ethical standards, sound judgment, and a client‑centered mindset., • Confidence with standard office and legal research tools; experience with digital case management systems is beneficial. #J-18808-Ljbffr
