The M&A team in Madrid is expanding to meet increased deal flow. We offer our VPs continuous training and significant involvement from day one, working in small teams and giving them above-market client exposure. We are looking to hire a high-calibre VP to start at short notice, with opportunities for upwards progression within an established team known for its track record. • Lead day-to-day execution of M&A transactions, both buy-side and sell-side, including coordination of the deal team, clients, stakeholders and other advisors., • Lead, supervise and coordinate the drafting of marketing materials and process documentation including pitchbooks, information memorandums, teasers, etc., • Lead, design, elaborate and supervise the construction of complex financial models from scratch (operating models, LBO, valuation and transaction structure and returns analysis, financing analysis, etc.)., • Support in the drafting of relevant legal transaction documents (SPA, Shareholders' agreement, MIP, etc.)., • Manage and lead a team of associates and analysts, ensuring quality control of their work product., • Work alongside colleagues from other DC Advisory teams., • Maintain a positive and supportive firm culture focused on delivering world-class service., • 6-8 years of experience in a relevant investment bank, advisory firm, M&A function (corporate finance/corporate development) or private equity firm., • Proven experience in the execution of M&A deals., • A strong academic background and a strong work ethic with a can-do attitude and high attention to detail., • Fluency in Spanish and English is essential., • Proficient in Microsoft Office; excellent communication skills; ability to build complex models from scratch., • Solid accounting and financial knowledge including valuation methodologies (DCF, DDM, multiples, etc.)., • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to synthesise and interpret data and present it clearly., • Experience supervising and mentoring junior team members; knowledge of databases such as MergerMarket, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, etc., • Seniority level: Executive, • Employment type: Full-time, • Job function: Finance #J-18808-Ljbffr
