ppWe are looking for an bRD Senior Power Electronics Engineer /b to join our Product Development team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, validation, and continuous improvement of advanced power conversion systems used across energy storage, photovoltaic applications, and grid‑connected solutions. You will work in a modern laboratory environment and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary RD team to bring innovative power electronic products from concept to industrialization. /ph3How You’ll Make an Impact /h3ulliSelection, qualification and verification of semiconductors, passive components and protection devices /liliSupport a fast, iterative design process in a cross-functional, dedicated team. Use fast prototyping and lab mockups to close learning loops and achieve results quickly. /liliPerform commissioning tasks for power conversion and control systems for interfacing with storage systems in the laboratory. /liliBuild up and maintain measurement test setups to verify performance, efficiency and robustness /liliTechnical analysis of logs, errors, signals, and metrics; generation of clear and reusable reports to support engineering, quality, and certification. /liliPerform validation tests in the factory and in the field for prototype power conversion and control systems. /liliComponent qualification and product certification processes. /liliPreparation of validation reports and technical documentation. /liliCreation of instructions and associated documentation for product deployment and operation. /li /ulh3Your Background /h3ulliBSc/MSc degree in engineering or an equivalent field as min requrirement. /liliExperience in the design of electrical systems and power electronics converters and their control. /liliExperience with simulation tools (Spice, PSCAD, Simulink, PLECS…) /liliExperience with specification, selection and qualification of power devices, and passive components like DC capacitors and filter components /liliPrevious experience in commissioning power converters, and the use and operation of measurement equipment and laboratory instrumentation will be valued. /liliExperience in managing, preparing, and executing prototype tests, customer tests, or product certifications, as well as preparing the corresponding test result reports, will be highly valued. /liliInterpretation of electrical schematics. /liliAdvanced knowledge in power converters (AC/DC, DC/DC). /liliKnowledge and experience in photovoltaic systems and energy storage systems, especially in the operation, integration, and testing of batteries and hybrid PV–battery solutions, will be positively valued. /liliProficiency in interpreting electrical schematics, analyzing conversion topologies, operating modes, and system protection. /liliStrong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines. /liliA high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies. /liliA collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. /liliAs you will be part of a global business, fluency in written and spoken English is required /lilibDesirable requirements /b: at least 5 years or more of relevant experience in the requested requirements.The profile will be assessed according to the experience presented. /li /ulh3More About Us /h3pYou will join a dynamic, passionate, and collaborative team committed to innovation and continuous improvement.
