Lead the team. Keep the line moving. Deliver precision. Are you an experienced machinist or production operator ready to step into a leadership role? As a Machining Lead Hand you’ll be the go-to person on the shop floor coordinating people, machines, and materials to ensure your line runs safely, smoothly, and efficiently. Your Mission You’ll take ownership of one or more machining lines, ensuring daily operations meet safety, quality, and productivity targets. You’ll support your team, troubleshoot issues, and keep production flowing all while setting the tone for performance and teamwork. Key responsibilities include: • Organizing operators and resources across your machining line(s), • Ensuring timely material supply and smooth production flow, • Stepping in to operate machines when needed, • Performing basic machine checks and adjustments based on quality and performance data, • Identifying and resolving first-level issues (equipment, supply, quality), escalating when necessary, • Supporting continuous improvement and lean initiatives, • Leading and participating in machine self-maintenance routines, • Training and validating new team members You’re a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge and a proactive mindset.
