Grill Chef – Job Description A Grill Chef is responsible for preparing and cooking grilled food to a high standard while maintaining food safety, quality, and kitchen cleanliness. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and cook grilled meats, poultry, seafood, and vegetables according to recipes and customer preferences., • Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively., • Prepare ingredients, including marinating, seasoning, and portioning., • Monitor grill temperatures and cooking times to ensure consistent quality., • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and comply with health and safety regulations., • Keep the grill station clean, organised, and fully stocked., • Check food quality and rotate stock to minimise waste., • Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods., • Report equipment faults and ensure kitchen equipment is used safely., • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries when required.
