At Honest Greens, we are looking for a Restaurant Maintenance Technician with proven experience in maintenance and repair of professional kitchen equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring that our kitchen machinery (cold, heat, and ventilation systems) operates efficiently, supporting the daily pace of our restaurant in London. Your day-to-day will include… • Maintenance and repair of hospitality machinery: ovens, refrigeration units, fryers, etc., • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues quickly and effectively., • Inspection and servicing of industrial HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) systems., • Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on all restaurant installations., • Managing procurement of spare parts, tools, and machinery., • Controlling stock levels and ensuring timely orders of necessary equipment., • Carrying out repairs in electricity, plumbing, carpentry, and masonry when needed., • Coordinating with the Maintenance Department to ensure compliance with our maintenance program. You will support qualified electricians in a variety of domestic and commercial projects, including rewiring, fault finding, and assisting with testing and inspection work. We are currently seeking a part-time Maintenance Assistant to join our dedicated Maintenance Department. Working closely with our Maintenance Manager and the business owners, this hands-on role is key to supporting the smooth operation of our three dynamic sites: Fallow, our flagship restaurant; Fowl, our neighbouring concept; and our newest opening, Roe, in Canary Wharf. The successful candidate will bring energy, initiative, and a problem-solving mindset to every task. Key responsibilities: • Support day-to-day maintenance needs across all three restaurant sites., • Carry out basic repairs including plumbing, electrics, carpentry, and decoration., • Source and collect materials or parts needed for tasks., • Assist in the planning and execution of preventative maintenance (PPMs)., • Liaise with contractors for quotes, scheduling, and supervision of works., • Maintain workshop tools and stock, ensuring efficient organisation., • Contribute to larger projects such as equipment installation or overnight refurbishments., • Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and with minimal disruption. Efficiency: You’ll be continuously monitoring production times, communicating budgeted hours to the team and keeping work on track to prevent projects from running over time. Quality: You'll conduct regular quality checks to identify potential issues early. You'll also work directly with the Quality Controller to ensure all garments meet our standards and get machinists to rectify any issues immediately.
