Key responsibilities: • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment., • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required by the chefs., • Ensure work surfaces, storage areas, and kitchen floors are clean and hygienic., • Handle deliveries, unpack supplies, and store ingredients correctly., • Support chefs with stock rotation and waste management to maintain high food safety standards., • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations. At The Clerk & Well we are known for our friendly atmosphere & service and brilliant staff. We are looking for a hard-working individual to take on the role of kitchen porter, in which they will be responsible for all dishwashing, cleaning, and basic ingredient preparation. Other tasks will include reporting to management when food supplies are running short, and putting away clean cookware. A fantastic kitchen porter will have excellent organisation and strong communication skills, with the ability to ensure all the rules and laws regarding the health and safety of prepared foods are followed closely. MONDAY TO THURSDAY 7am to 4pm (fixed rota) We are looking for a FULL TIME KITCHEN PORTER (morning shift) to join our growing team in Central London. Monday to Friday only. No weekends. We need someone dynamic and hardworking. You'll have a fixed rota every week Monday to Thursday from 7am to 4pm.
