We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Crudo Seven Dials. The role combines kitchen preparation, service support and general kitchen organisation. The Kitchen Assistant works closely with the Head Chef and the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service and high standards across the kitchen. This position is ideal for someone looking to grow into a Commis Chef role over time. Responsibilities: • Support the kitchen team with daily preparation including vegetables, sauces, marinades and mise en place, • Assist chefs during service with plating, garnishes and basic cooking tasks, • Take responsibility for washing up during service and ensuring all kitchen equipment, utensils and cookware are kept clean and ready for use, • Maintain cleanliness and organisation across all kitchen areas including workstations, storage areas and floors, • Receive and store deliveries while ensuring ingredients are handled correctly, • Follow all food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures, • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service, • Contribute to maintaining a positive and respectful kitchen culture What we are looking for: • An interest in food and cooking, • A strong work ethic and willingness to learn, • Ability to work in a fast paced kitchen environment, • Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards, • Reliability and good time management, • A positive and collaborative attitude, • Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not required.
