We are on a lookout for a KP to support us full time for 2-3 weeks (potential part time employment available) Can do' attitude and team player a must. Reporting directly to the souse chef, duties include pot wash, cleaning and general kitchen maintenance. Training with prep duties given, to add variety to the roll. Full time hours, free food on shift and discount when dining in the restaurant.

Growming and personal hygiene to follow Gaia’s standards R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S o Able to load and unload dishware and flatware from the dishwashing machine and store them properly. o Able to safely set up, clean, and utilize the silver burnishing machine. o Able to clean, polish, sort, and transport required silver. o Ensure all needed supplies are in storage and the ability to requisition such supplies. o Able to set up, clean, and properly operate the dish machine safely and neatly, including disassembling and assembling for cleaning, loading, and unloading dishes and silver, and changing the water when necessary or instructed. o Able to maintain a clean, orderly, hazard-free work area and clean all areas. o Able to clean, dust, sweep, mop, polish, scrub, wash, strip, and buff, the specified areas. o Ensure that all food service and preparation ware is clean and sanitized. o Rack all china and glassware properly according to type and size to avoid breakage. o Keep the ware-washing area clean and safe. Clean the work area, drains, and machinery properly at the end of each shift. o Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment. o Due to the cyclical nature of the industry, Employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required. o Upon employment, all Employees are required to fully comply with Gaia rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the facilities. Employees who violate organization rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
