This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated operator who takes pride in their vehicle. You will be responsible for transporting, loading, and unloading a variety of heavy goods [e.g., plant, construction materials, containers] safely and efficiently across [Insert Region, e.g., London and the South East]. Key Responsibilities Safely operating a multi-axle DAF rigid flatbed lorry. Utilising the lorry-mounted crane (HIAB) for complex loading and unloading operations in accordance with safety regulations. Conducting thorough daily vehicle defect checks and securing all loads (strapping, chaining) perfectly. Representing the company professionally on customer sites, ensuring excellent customer service. Adhering strictly to EU drivers' hours, working time directives, and site safety rules. What We Are Looking For Licence: Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category CE) or Class 2 (Category C) licence with no more than 6 penalty points (No DR/DD/IN codes for insurance purposes). Qualifications: Valid ALLMI or ITSSAR lorry loader certificate (Remote control hook experience is a distinct advantage but training can be given).
