This role is an excellent stepping stone into teaching, education support roles, or long-term supply work.\n\nAbout the Role\n\nAs a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning in secondary schools by supervising classes in the absence of the class teacher.\n\nYour responsibilities will include:\n\nLeading classes of approximately 25–30 pupils\n\nDelivering pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects\n\nManaging classroom behaviour and promoting positive learning environments\n\nTaking accurate registers and following school policies\n\nProviding feedback to teaching staff at the end of the lesson\n\nYou do not need to be a subject specialist.
