We are recruiting for an Assistant Garage Manager to support the day-to-day running of the workshop and front-of-house operations. This role suits a senior technician, service advisor, or supervisor ready to advance into management, or an experienced Assistant Manager seeking a more personable, down-to-earth business.
The Role:
- Support the Garage Manager with daily operations
- Oversee workflow, job allocation, and productivity
- Act as a point of contact for customers, delivering excellent service
- Assist with estimates, invoicing, and workshop administration
- Help motivate and support a close-knit team
- Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
About You:
- Experience within a garage or automotive environment (essential)
- Confident in dealing with customers and managing priorities
- Organised, reliable, and hands-on
- Comfortable supporting a team and leading by example
- MOT licence or technical background is advantageous but not essential
