The Lamb and Flag is a lovely pub in Marylebone. We are currently looking a team member to join our team during the festive season.

Paladar is an award-winning Latin-American restaurant in London SE1 As a Bartender/es in our restaurant you will be expected to ensure that our customers get the highest standard of bar service – notably cocktail making – whilst interacting with guests and promoting the bar’s exclusively Latin American wine, beer and spirits offering. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and ideally have a good standard of either Spanish or Portuguese, with an interest in and understanding of Latin American culture. A minimum of one year of experience in bar service (including cocktails) is required, along with lots of enthusiasm and a friendly manner. Pay rate: From £14.50 to £15.50 per hour (including Tronc) depending on experience. Benefits include a staff meal each shift and two team outings each year. In-house training is provided for our range of Latin American spirits. Contract is for 30+ hours per week (typically 40 per week).

Key Responsibilities: Glass Porting Ensure all glassware is clean, polished, and properly stocked for service. Bar Preparation Prepare the bar before and during services and maintain cleanliness throughout the shift, including stocking supplies and organizing inventory. Cocktail & Coffee Making: Create and serve a variety of cocktails and coffee beverages, adhering to recipes and presentation standards. Customer Service: Provide friendly, attentive service to guests, taking their orders and addressing their needs effectively. Reinforcement of Bar Policies: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as responsible service of alcohol. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other bartenders and staff to maintain a smooth workflow. Qualifications: - Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred. - Knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and coffee making is a plus. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. - Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the UK.
