Role Overview We’re looking for a friendly, energetic, and reliable All-Rounder / Barista to join our close-knit team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who loves working in a fast-paced café environment, enjoys customer interaction, and can confidently handle both barista and floor duties. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages to Pastada standards Provide warm, attentive customer service at all times Assist with taking orders, serving food, and clearing tables Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, front-of-house, and service areas Support the kitchen and team with general duties when needed Follow food hygiene and health & safety procedures Ensure a welcoming environment for all guests Requirements Previous experience as a barista or working in a café environment Confident with espresso machines and milk texturing techniques Strong communication and teamwork skills Positive attitude, reliable, and proactive Able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards Good understanding of food hygiene practices Flexible availability, including weekends Preferred Skills (not essential) Knowledge or interest in brunch and bakery items Experience handling cash and using till systems Latte art skills a plus! We can consider you for either shift or both Barista duties and responsibilities As a front-of-house employee, a Barista represents the brand and the culture of an establishment and provides clients with professional and friendly service. Their duties may include the following: • Grinding and brewing coffee, • Developing and maintaining expert knowledge of coffee and educating clients and colleagues about these coffees, • Consistently providing well-crafted, beautifully presented and tasty beverages, • Taking client orders and receiving payment, • Speaking and interacting with both new and regular customers, • Maintaining a clean and sanitised working environment, • Following health and safety guidelines, • Regularly performing stock checks in the coffee bar and placing new orders, • Following recipes and presentations for food and beverage items, if needed, • Being aware of and following operational policies and procedures, • Being punctual and maintaining regular and consistent attendance, • The ability to work flexible hours and shifts which may include early mornings, weekends and bank holidays, • Contributing to a positive work environment

We are looking for an experienced Barista to join us in our local neighbourhood cafe.
