Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing exceptional service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including counters, equipment, and dining areas
- Follow food safety standards diligently to ensure all products are prepared in a hygienic environment
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when needed
- Manage multiple orders efficiently during busy periods through effective time management
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation is highly preferred. (Minimum 2 year essential)
- Be able to do basic coffee art (essential)
- Knowledge of food safety practices to uphold health standards at all times
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients accurately
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet customer needs promptly
- Strong attention to detail when preparing beverages and maintaining cleanliness
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members
