Barista supervisor - Costa Coffee

Looking for a skilled part-time barista to join our team! The Nest is an independently owned Cafe and Restaurant, serving up delicious Brunch and Lunch as well as speciality Coffee and Drinks. We are Community focused, and strive to make everyone feel at home when they walk through the door. Job Role • excellent customer service and a friendly smile, • ability to be dynamic and think on your feet, • works well as part of a small family-like team, • trustworthy and reliable, • latte art preferred, • 1 years experience in a fast paced cafe essential Pay and perks • £12.50+ an hour depending on experience, • equal share of service charge (not tronc) based on hours worked. Usually around £1.80+ per hour, • paid lunch and hot meal provided, • coffees and staff drink on shift, • staff discount, • working in an incredible team, • staff parties and dinners

Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other specialty beverages according to company recipes and standards. Greet customers, take accurate orders, and provide recommendations as needed. Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewing equipment, and point-of-sale (POS) systems. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including regular cleaning of equipment and café spaces. Manage cash and credit transactions with accuracy and integrity. Restock inventory, monitor supplies, and assist with daily café operations. Deliver excellent customer service by creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere. Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service, especially during peak hours.
