Role: Community Care Assistant - Full Time & Part Time
Pay Rate: £15.53 Per Hour & 40p Per Mile
Shift Times: Mornings 7am - 2pm Evenings 4pm - 10pm. Weekend Work
Contracts:

• Full Time 38 - 40 Hours Per Week
• Part Time 10 - 30 hours per week
• Bank work also available

A valid drivers licence and access to own vehicle is essential for this role

Job Summary We are looking for caring, reliable, and dedicated Community Care Assistants to join our growing team. Due to continued expansion, we have opportunities available within our community teams based in Hitchin, Letchworth, and Royston, working within a designated local area.
As a Community Care Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting people to remain independent in their own homes. You will provide person-centred care and assistance tailored to individual needs, helping with daily living activities, promoting wellbeing, and enabling people to live safely and comfortably within their community.

Herts at Home are a lead care provider working with Hertfordshire county council and we provide care for people living in their own homes in the community.
Duties:

• Provide direct care and support to clients in their homes or community settings
• Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules
• Monitor and record clients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals
• Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring clients' dietary needs are met
• Carrying out moving and assisting techniques specific to the clients needs.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress -Medication Administration
