Care Supervisor (Days)
Caer Gwent combines superb residential living with 24-hour expert nursing care, supporting individuals with complex health conditions, particularly focusing on palliative support. Our home has a high staff-to-resident ratio, with a versatile team built around resident’s needs. As well as providing around-the-clock nursing care, we have dedicated health & wellbeing coordinators who deliver regular and stimulating activities catered to individuals’ interests.
We are looking for a care supervisor on either a full or part time basis, to join our team at Caer Gwent. The role of the care supervisor is to be a role model for quality, person-centred care. You will provide supervision, coaching and mentoring to other colleagues. As part of this, you will have responsibility for allocating care staff to sections, prioritising care and overseeing care staff breaks effectively when required
You will ideally have experience in a similar role and preferably hold an NVQ level 2 in health and social care or higher. You will also have opportunities to cover senior care assistant shifts when required.
