Our Support Workers are focused on encouraging and stimulating the people we care for through the provision of outcome‑based care that promotes independence and community engagement. Salary: £24,796 – £25,185 (hourly rate: £14.40‑£14.63 depending on experience) Working Pattern: Full time, 37 hours/week Contract Length: Permanent Location: Ball Tree Croft Residential Home, Sompting, Lancing • Passionate about supporting people to be the best they can be., • Empowering people to live the life they choose., • Supporting people to have the opportunities to learn and grow., • A good listener, patient and treat all with respect, kindness and dignity., • Ensure people have opportunity to be involved in/Co‑produce every aspect of their care and support., • Support people to maintain friendships/relationships important to them and to make new friendships/relationships., • Support people to maintain their health. Ball Tree Croft is a registered residential care home providing person‑centred care and support for up to 15 people over the age of 18 who have a learning disability. It has four bedrooms where people can have short breaks. An important part of what we do is enabling and encouraging people to be independent and make choices about their day‑to‑day lives. From choosing the colour of their bedroom wall to riding a bike, going to work, or future planning within the service (their home), we always ensure people are supported to explore opportunities.
