Assistant Butcher – Full Time Location: Fable Stores, Loughton IG10 Hours: 35–40 hours per week Schedule: 5–6 days per week We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Assistant Butcher to join our team and support our Head Butcher with the day-to-day preparation of meat orders. This role focuses primarily on preparing orders. Full training will be provided, giving you the opportunity to learn all aspects of the role, including meat preparation, portioning, packing and general butchery operations. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently., • Assist with trimming, portioning and preparing meat products., • Support the Head Butcher with daily preparation and ⁠ production tasks. • Learn and follow correct procedures for handling, storing and preparing meat., • Keep preparation and storage areas clean, organised and hygienic. The Ideal Candidate • Previous butchery or food preparation experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided., • Willingness to learn all aspects of meat preparation and order fulfilment., • Comfortable with practical, hands-on work., • Reliable , organised and able to work effectively as part of a team., • Able to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment., • Turkish-speaking skills are an advantage., • Flexible to work 35–40 hours per week across 5–6 days. Full-Time Barista & Waiter/Waitress Fable Stores – Loughton IG10 We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and experienced Barista & Waiter/Waitress to join our team at Fable Stores in Loughton on a full-time basis. We’re looking for someone who is confident both behind the coffee bar and on the floor, enjoys working with customers and understands the importance of great service, cleanliness and teamwork in a busy café environment. Main Responsibilities • Preparing and serving high-quality coffees and other drinks, • Taking customer orders and operating the till, • Providing friendly and professional table service, • Welcoming customers and ensuring they have a great experience, • Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables throughout the day, • Keeping the coffee station, counter and service areas clean and organised, • Restocking products and maintaining displays, • Supporting opening and closing duties, • Working closely with the rest of the café and kitchen team We are looking for someone who is: • Reliable and punctual, • Experienced in café, restaurant or hospitality service, • Confident making espresso-based coffees and steaming milk, • Friendly, professional and confident with customers, • Hardworking and proactive, • Comfortable working in a busy environment, • Clean, organised and attentive to detail, • Able to work independently as well as part of a team, • Serious about maintaining high standards of customer service Strong barista skills and latte art experience would be a big advantage.
