An excellent opportunity has arisen in our Care Home for those who aspire to 'really make a difference' to the lives of older people that have chosen to live in spectacular newly developed residential care services.
We are urgently seeking applicants for the following role: Bank Chef
Responsibilities
- Oversee food preparation and cooking activities
- Create innovative and enticing menus
- Ensure high-quality culinary dishes are served
- Supervise kitchen staff and provide guidance as needed
- Maintain food safety standards at all times
Requirements - As a Chef, you will possess at least 1 years' work experience in a similar environment; preferably within a care home or as chef within schools or the hotel industry.
Qualifications: minimum NVQ Level 2 in catering ideally working towards level 3.
You must be flexible, capable of working under pressure and able to work on your own or as part of a team.
The successful candidate will; - Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and the ability to quickly identify and resolve problems
- Have a positive ‘can do’ attitude
- Be focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service
- Be highly motivated to deliver the highest standards of health and social care
- Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Have experience of working within CQC and Health & Safety Guidelines
- Have knowledge of Data Protection
Enhanced DBS will be required
