We are seeking a skilled and passionate Dance Coach to join our prestigious institution. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of various dance styles, exemplary coaching skills, and the ability to inspire and mentor dancers of all levels. This role requires a commitment to fostering talent, developing choreography, and ensuring the highest standards of performance.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The prospective applicant needs to demonstrate the following:
· Builds and maintains stamina, physical strength, agility and general health through fitness exercises and healthy eating,
· Attends rehearsals to develop and practice dance routines for performance;
· Participates in dance performance.
· Demonstrates and directs dance moves, monitors and analyses technique and performance, and determines how improvements can be made.
· Prepare dancers for performances, competitions, and auditions. Provide constructive feedback and strategies for improvement.
· Assist in developing and implementing dance programs and curricula. Evaluate and improve training methods and program effectiveness.
· Ensure the physical safety and well-being of all dancers. Promote safe dance practices and injury prevention techniques.
Skills, experience, and qualification required for the role.
· Proven experience as a Dance Coach or similar role.
· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
· Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week
