  Position Overview We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join our operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant delivery, loading, and unloading of goods using a lorry‑mounted crane (HIAB). This role requires a professional driver with strong awareness of transport regulations, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently across multiple delivery sites. Key Responsibilities • Operate a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle safely and in line with UK road transport legislation., • Complete multi‑drop deliveries to construction sites, commercial premises, and residential locations., • Carry out daily vehicle checks, defect reporting, and ensure the vehicle is maintained to DVSA standards., • Secure loads correctly using appropriate restraints and follow all site safety protocols., • Communicate professionally with customers, site managers, and dispatch teams., • Maintain accurate delivery records, PODs, and route logs., • Follow all company policies relating to health & safety, manual handling, and environmental standards., • Represent the company positively as a frontline member of the logistics team.
