Right Now Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative / Stock Controller to join our client's busy operation based in Heston, Hounslow. \n This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced warehouse environment where you will be responsible for the accurate handling, storage and control of aircraft spares and high-value goods. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy, ensuring goods are picked and packed correctly, and making sure customer requirements and operational deadlines are consistently achieved. \n This is a hands-on position that would suit someone who is organised, reliable and takes pride in working accurately, particularly when handling high-value or sensitive products. \n Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Operative / Stock Controller \n\n • Accurately pick, pack and prepare aircraft spares and high-value goods for dispatch within required deadlines.\n, • Receive, check and inspect incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring quantities, condition and documentation are correct.\n, • Safely handle, store and move stock in accordance with customer requirements and company procedures.\n, • Complete stock movements and ensure all inventory transactions are accurately recorded.\n, • Carry out regular stock counts and investigate any discrepancies identified.\n, • Update the Warehouse Management System accurately and within required timescales.\n, • Ensure all stock is correctly scanned and supported by the relevant paperwork and documentation.\n, • Maintain a high level of care and security when handling valuable, sensitive or specialist goods.\n, • Assist with the movement of stock between storage, picking, packing and dispatch areas.\n, • Follow customer-specific procedures, requirements and KPIs at all times.\n, • Ensure customer requests are actioned accurately and within agreed deadlines.\n, • Maintain accurate stock records, paperwork, scanning information and inventory documentation.\n, • Identify and report any stock discrepancies, damaged goods or documentation issues promptly.\n, • Ensure all warehouse activities are carried out in line with company policies and compliance procedures.\n, • Follow all Health & Safety requirements and report any hazards or unsafe practices immediately.\n, • Follow the correct procedures for the safe handling and storage of Dangerous Goods (DG).\n, • Work closely with warehouse colleagues, supervisors, team leaders and customer representatives.\n, • Provide support to the wider operations team when required to ensure the smooth running of the warehouse.\n\n Skills & Experience Required for a Warehouse Operative / Stock Controller \n\n • Previous experience within warehouse operations, stock control or a similar logistics environment.\n, • Experience handling aircraft parts, high-value goods or sensitive products would be advantageous.\n, • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and consistency.\n, • Good organisational skills with a structured and methodical approach to work.\n, • Ability to work independently and use initiative when dealing with operational issues.\n, • Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards of work.\n, • Comfortable working in a busy, deadline-driven warehouse environment.\n, • Strong understanding of the importance of security and accuracy when handling high-value goods.\n, • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.\n, • Good standard of Maths and English.\n, • Previous experience using a Warehouse Management System would be advantageous.\n, • Forklift / MHE experience or certification would be beneficial.\n, • Previous Dangerous Goods (DG) training would be advantageous, although full training can be provided.\n, • Willingness to learn company-specific systems, procedures and customer requirements.\n\n Salary for a Warehouse Operative / Stock Controller \n\n • Salary:£32,500\n, • Shift: 4 on 4 off.\n, • Hours: 07:00-19:00\n, • Opportunity to work within a specialist warehouse environment handling aircraft spares and high-value goods.\n\n Why Apply for this Warehouse Operative / Stock Controller Position? \n This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a specialist warehouse and logistics environment. \n You'll be responsible for ensuring valuable and time-sensitive goods are accurately received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched, while maintaining excellent stock accuracy and following strict customer and compliance procedures. \n The role would suit an experienced Warehouse Operative, Stock Controller, Warehouse Controller, Logistics Operative, Stores Operative, Aircraft Parts Operative, Aviation Warehouse Operative or Inventory Controller who enjoys a hands-on role and takes pride in working accurately and efficiently. \n Please note: Full training will be provided on company-specific systems and procedures where required.
