About us: Pakoda King is a brand new family run Indian street food business bringing fresh, authentic flavours to Horsham every Saturday on West Street. We're just getting started and we're looking for someone to be the friendly face of what we're building.
The role: You'll be the first person our customers meet. It's hands on and fast moving like greeting people, helping them choose from the menu, taking orders, handling payments, and keeping your area clean and food-safe. We'll arrange your Level 2 Food Safety certificate if you don't have one. You will be supported by the head chef who will be cooking all the dishes.
When and where: Saturdays 10am–4pm, West Street, Horsham. Occasional Fridays/Sundays for events. Hours aren't guaranteed under a zero-hour contract and will flex with demand.
Pay: National Minimum Wage (age-appropriate) + tips + reasonable travel expenses, paid by bank transfer within 5 working days.
Who we’re looking for: This could be a brilliant first job, with no prior hospitality experience required for the right candidate. You are kind and approachable. You don't need to be loud, just warm. You are genuinely curious about food and happy talking about it
