We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Commis Waiter to join our team at Fallow. As a Commis Waiter, you will support the front-of-house team in delivering outstanding service and ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable dining experience. Key responsibilities: • Act as the link between the kitchen and restaurant, ensuring clear and efficient communication throughout service., • Coordinate the flow of dishes from the kitchen to the dining room, ensuring food is delivered accurately and efficiently., • Check plates for correct presentation, garnishing, portioning and quality before they leave the pass., • Ensure dishes are complete and match the correct table and order., • Communicate with chefs and waitstaff to maintain smooth service and appropriate timing., • Monitor the pass and prioritise dishes during busy periods to help maintain an efficient service flow., • Identify and communicate any issues with food, orders or service promptly., • Assist the kitchen and restaurant teams wherever required during service., • Keep the pass and expediting area clean, organised and fully prepared throughout service., • Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and food safety., • Develop a strong understanding of the menu and dishes to confidently support both kitchen and service teams., • Follow all company policies, health and safety procedures and food hygiene standards.
