Duties • Load and unload goods, with care to prevent damage or injury., • Plan delivery routes effectively to optimise efficiency and meet delivery deadlines., • Communicate clearly with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery times and any unforeseen delays., • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations., • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly., • Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles., • Valid driver’s licence, • Experience with delovery operations or logistics is advantageous., • Strong communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members., • Familiarity with local roads and navigation systems is preferred. Requirements • Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not essential as training is provided., • Valid driving licence with no more than 6 points; no DR convictions, but IN convictions are accepted., • Experience driving larger vehicles is advantageous., • Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is beneficial., • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) during loading and unloading processes., • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with team members and customers., • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork is essential.
